Using the Word of God as you pray, pray using these 6 steps.
(1) Communion With God
“That I might know Him, the fellowship of His sufferings and the power of His resurrection.”
Start by telling God how great He is, how awesome He is, how powerful He is. Come into His presence with praise and singing and a heart that is ready to obey.
(2) Confession To God
“Search me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me and lead me to the way everlasting.”
Confess to God any known sin in your life that He has revealed. Ask Him to show you any sin in your life that is hidden from you at the moment.
(3) Confronting the Enemy
“Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” “Stand firm”
Next, stand against the defeated enemy. Resist Him, Bind Him and Stand Against Him. Put on the Spiritual Armor available to you in Ephesians 6.
(4) Calling Upon God
“Ask anything in My name and I will do it.”
Next, ask the Lord for what you need. Make your requests known to Him. Ask Him to do, ask Him to work and ask Him to move in your life and in the life of others around you.
(5) Covering From God
“Keep us from the evil one.”
Next, ask the Lord for a covering, a divine protection as you advance the Gospel.
(6) Commanding The Darkness
“Say to this mountain, ‘Be moved’ and it will be so.”
Lastly, ask the Lord to unlock and release the supernatural. Ask the Lord to open doors. Ask the Lord for the salvation of others. Ask the Lord to push back the darkness. Pray as long as you want the darkness to be pushed back.”
